Chocolate Chip bars

Ingredients
100g Soft butter
100g soft brown sugar
50g caster sugar
1 large Egg
1tsp vanilla
200g self raising flour
100g chopped chocolate


Method
1. Pre heat oven 180oC 375oF gas 5
Butter and line a rectangular tin.
2. Cream butter & sugar well using a wooden spoon.
3. Beat eggs and add vanilla.
4. Add eggs mixture gradually, beating well with a wooden spoon.
5. Sift flour & fold in gently.
6. Chop chocolate & add. Use a spatula to fold in.
7. Spread mixture into a prepared tin.
8. bake for approx 20 minutes.
9. Cut into bars. Cool on a wire rack when cold dust with icing sugar.
