Stacking pancakes
Ingredients
175g Self raising flour
1 tsp Baking powder
40g Caster sugar
1 Egg
200ml Milk
( little bit of butter for frying)
Method
1. Measure flour & sieve into large bowl. Add baking powder & sugar.
2. Make a "well" in the centre.
3. Add egg & half of the milk.
4. Gradually begin to incorporate some of flour from around the edges with the egg & milk mixture.
5. Gradually add the rest of the milk & use to whisk to remove any lumps.
6. Batter should be smooth & consistency of thick cream.
Cook
7. Heat a non stick frying pan add a little vegetable oil & or butter.
8. When hot drop spoonfuls of mixture well apart into the pan.
9. When the pancakes begin to bubble on the surface use a palate knife and flip over onto the other side. Cook until golden.
Serve immediately with Maple or Golden syrup.
