Flatbreads
Ingredients
125g Self raising flour
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking powder
125g natural yogurt
Method
1. Carefully measure out the flour, salt and baking powder. Place into a large bowl.
2. Weigh out yoghurt and add to the flour, mix together gently with a spoon.
3. Using your hands bring the dough together to form a ball.
4. Dust the work surface with flour, knead dough for about 1 minute. Do not overhandle the dough as it will become tough and heavy!
5. Divide into 3 pieces. Dust rolling pin, work surface and hands with flour, roll out to the size of a small plate.
6. Make slits in the dough using a sharp knife.
7. Turn gas on range and place a griddle or pan on top, when hot place the dough on for 2 minutes each side until the flatbreads turn puffy and charred.
8. Serve warm with garlic herb butter
Hummos or yogurt & mint dip.
