Scone Base Pizza
Ingredients
110g Self raising flour
25g Soft butter
2 tbs Milk
2 tbs Water
Tomato sauce
Topping
sliced chorizo
grated cheddar cheese
mozzarella cheese
courgettes - peppers - mushrooms
pinch oregano
olives
black pepper
Method
1. pre heat oven 220°C 425°F Gas 7
Line a baking tray with baking parchment
2. Put flour, pinch of salt into a large bowl & rub in butter using fingertips.
3. Gradually add liquids, use a round bladed knife to form a soft dough.
4. Turn out onto a floured worksurface and knead lightly. Cut the dough in half.
5. Roll out 1/2 the dough into a thin circle and place on a baking tray.
6. Spread over tomato sauce, add various toppings - finish with grated cheese.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown & bubbling on top.
